The fun league season ended last night in Foxboro and the Harlow Team beat the McDonough team 5-3 for the league championship. Boston College grad Brian Dumoulin played for the winners and sophomore Chris Calnan scored the game winner but the rest of the BC boys (Brad Barone, Brian Boyle, Jimmy Hayes, Tommy Cross, Bill Arnold-one goal-, and Brian Gibbons) went home losers. Teams with names like Patrick Brown, Chris Kreider, Noah Hanifan, Cam Spiro, Patch Alber, Ryan Fitzgerald and recruits Casey Fitzgerald and Luke McInnis didn't make the championship round. Of note, the winning team featured Jack Eichel, the BU recruit who is odds-on to be the top draft choice for the NHL next spring. He looks the part, with great hockey sense. Might be best for the Eagles if Eichel has the flu when the two teams meet November 7.
